A comprehensive care facility, our hospital offers a wide range of veterinary services and addresses both routine and advanced pet health matters. We consult with board-certified veterinarians as needed, and practice many innovations, especially in the fields of laparoscopy, dentistry, and orthopedic surgery.

Three key features set our veterinary clinic apart:

  • Highly skilled and caring veterinarians
  • An unparalleled pet-loving staff
  • Use of the latest technologies

Our goal is for Littleton and southwest Denver area cats and dogs to thrive in our care.

Since 1984, VCA Deer Creek Animal Hospital has been accredited by the American Animal Hospital Association. That means our hospital meets AAHA’s strict standards of excellence in diagnostic capabilities, anesthesia, surgery, pharmacy, nursing, and emergency care.

Our veterinary doctors work as a team and consult on challenging cases. Many of our veterinarians have special interest areas and advanced skills. This access to a wide range of expertise provides quantifiable benefits to your pet’s care.

The entire VCA Deer Creek team of skilled veterinary professionals care deeply about your pet’s well being. Our compassion is evident from the moment you step in the door and throughout all your encounters—whether it is with our client care staff, our certified veterinary technicians, our boarding care staff, or our highly trained veterinarians.

Accreditations & Affiliations
American Animal Hospital Association

The American Animal Hospital Association (AAHA) sets the standard for quality veterinary care for companion animals. As an accredited hospital, we voluntarily uphold the Association's high standards in 18 different areas and are routinely evaluated on over 900 different standards of veterinary care. Not all animal hospitals are accredited, and we are proud to be amongst only 12-15% of veterinary hospitals that hold this honor.

American Association of Feline Practitioners

The American Association of Feline Practitioners (AAFP) represents practitioners in the veterinary community who are passionate about the care of cats and supports its members in improving the health and welfare of feline patients. With a reputation as a leader in the field of feline medicine, the AAFP helps veterinary practices establish a feline-friendly environment that reduces stress for cats during veterinary visits.

VECCS
Veterinary Emergency and Critical Care Society

The Veterinary Emergency and Critical Care Society (VECCS) offers certification programs to veterinary facilities that provide emergency and critical patient care. This certification is to recognize those hospitals that meet and exceed the minimum standards and guidelines published by the VECCS. The VECCS does this to raise the standard of care, while also increasing public and professional awareness in the area of veterinary emergency and critical patient care.
