Dr. Ray Cox graduated from Colorado State University in 1979 and is a co-founder of VCA Deer Creek Animal Hospital. He has played an integral part in the development and training of the single port laparoscopic surgical technique and currently serves as the Surgical Director at VCA Deer Creek. Ray has traveled extensively training veterinarians in both private practice and universities the newer techniques of single port laparoscopic surgeries. His areas of special interest are soft tissue surgery, laparoscopic surgery, and ophthalmology.

Ray enjoys hiking, running, gardening, and cooking. He lives with his wife, a tortoise, and two dogs, Maggie and Mango, in the foothills of Littleton.
