Tammy serves as the hospital manager at VCA Dover Animal Hospital, bringing 35 years of dedicated health care and animal welfare experience to her leadership role. She officially began her journey at the hospital in May 1991, driven by a deep belief that the human-animal bond is one of the most precious things in life. Caring deeply for her team, Tammy ensures a supportive environment for her staff while dedicating her career to honoring that unconditional bond, finding her greatest reward in supporting her patients, clients, and team members every single day.
Born and raised on her family farm in Woodside, Delaware, Tammy still calls the farm home today. She shares her life there with her husband, Johnny, her daughter, Mel, and a beloved crew of animals. Outside of managing the hospital, Tammy loves spending quality time with her daughter, riding her horses, and working around the farm, her yard, and her koi pond.
