Dr. Veronica Pleasant earned her BS in Animal Science and Pathobiology from the University of Connecticut in 2019, and both her Master of Public Health (MPH) and Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degrees from the University of Illinois in 2023. Dr. Pleasant enjoys everything from wellness visits to surgical cases, with an important focus on keeping pets comfortable during their visits by utilizing her Fear Free Certification. She looks forward to helping your four-legged family members stay healthy throughout their lives, and improving the human-animal bond in the process. Dr. Pleasant shares her home with her fiancé, Pat, their Siberian husky mix, Roxy, their Great Dane puppy, Timber, and their two cats, Winnie and Honey. Outside of appointments, she enjoys spending time on the beach, hiking and petting as many pups as possible along the way!
