Always having a love for animals, Shannon could be found even as a very young girl holding frogs, rescuing butterflies and "taming" squirrels to take peanuts from her hand. This led to volunteering at shelters, rescuing cats and kittens. Years later, the words of her father telling her to "never give up on her dreams" led to another attempt to join the veterinary field, this time as a CSR. This is proving to suit Shannon very nicely, being a way she can help pets and pet owners while leaving the hardest parts to her wonderful and capable colleagues. Shannon loves baking treats for these very same colleagues, boring anyone who will listen to her about animals in ancient cultures and sharing her life with her two kitties and husband. Her favorite color is glitter. If you happen to stop in and see her behind the desk, say "hello" and ask her about her Ancient Egyptian mummified cat, but be warned, she will tell you all about it!
