Ashley has been a hospital manager with VCA East Penn Animal Hospital since April 2023; however, she has experience managing other hospitals and working as a credentialed veterinary technician prior to that. Ashley worked at a VCA hospital close to her home as her first job and was inspired by one of the other CVTs to become one herself. She received her Associate of Science Degree in Veterinary Technology from Harcum College in 2008 and passed her VTNE that same year. Ashley has been a veterinary assistant, a credentialed veterinary technician, a lead veterinary technician, and a hospital manager, for a total time in the field of about 20 years. She has worked in academia, helping to teach future generations of veterinarians, emergency and referral medicine, and general practice, enjoying each new experience. She now lives in Wernersville with her husband, daughter, step-sons, and their pit bull mix, Ivar. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her family, going out to eat, and hiking.
