Dr. Christie Romo joined VCA in July 2025 after earning her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine from Ross University School of Veterinary Medicine, where she completed her clinical year at The Ohio State University. She also holds a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology and Health from The University of Texas at Austin.
Originally from San Benito, Texas, Dr. Romo has special interests in surgery, emergency medicine, and neurology. She is passionate about building long-term relationships with clients and following their pets through every stage of life.
Outside of work, Dr. Romo enjoys running, spending time with family and friends, and exploring new places around Columbus. She shares her home with Moose, a 5-year-old black lab mix she adopted during vet school in the Caribbean, as well as Johnny, a 1-year-old domestic shorthair cat, and June, a newly adopted domestic short hair kitten.
