A'nette is from South Dakota and has lived in Denver since 2005. She moved here to attend Bel-Rea Institute of Animal Technology for her Associates degree and continued her education at Metropolitan State University of Denver for her Bachelor of Science degree with a Major in Biology and Minor Chemistry. She worked on and off for a veterinary hospital while attending school. She went to Australia for a year on a Work and Holiday Visa where she volunteered at Kanyana Wildlife Rehabilitation Hospital and Center. She helped with injured birds, nocturnal animals, reptiles, and took care of the residents. While working with wildlife was an amazing opportunity and experience, she realized how much she missed working and interacting with dogs and cats and decided to get back in the veterinary field after returning to the States. One day soon, she hopes to finally rescue and adopt a dog and have a pet of her own.
