Staff Veterinarian
DVM
Dr. Flanders move to Vermont and joined Fitzgerald Animal Hospital in early 2018 as an associate veterinarian. Dr. Flanders attended the University of Rochester where he earned a B.A. in Financial Economics and a minor in Biology. Unsure of what he wanted to do after college, his experience at a wonderful veterinary practice in central New York (where he is originally from) helped him realize his passion for helping animals. He was then accepted by Cornell University where he earned his Doctorate in Veterinary Medicine. He enjoys all aspects of his profession and is most happy when he can help strengthen or maintain the incredible bonds human have with their pets, even in the face of serious disease. Dr. Flanders has an orange, male tabby kitty named Gibbsey, who acts more like a dog.
While a New Yorker at heart, Dr. Flanders has been a longtime fan of the mountains in Vermont.
