Dr. Jordan Fisher is originally from Austin, Texas - he is new to Houston but he's a Texas boy through and through. He completed his Bachelor of Animal Science at Texas A&M University and received his Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine from Mississippi State University.
Growing up in the Texas Hill Country Jordan spent all his time outdoors. From catching snakes, snapping turtles, or bringing strays home.
Jordan was a veterinary technician for a decade before making the important decision to become a veterinarian. A lifelong passion for animals naturally led him to a career in veterinary medicine.
He is committed to providing compassion, empathy, and, high-quality care for animals and their people.
Outside of work, you can find him on the running trails, the golf course, the climbing gym, or on his bike. He has a Texas stray cat named Bug, and a teenie Houston mutt named Benny. He is looking forward to being part of the VCA community.
