Hospital Manager, Britt Wilson, is thrilled to connect with you and your pet at VCA Knapp’s Corner Animal Hospital!

Britt’s journey into the veterinary field started early on, where she found her passion for veterinary medicine by volunteering at her hometown veterinary clinics. After perusing her degree at Central Michigan University, she ended up back in the field, working in specialty and emergency medicine at BluePearl Grand Rapids. 

She spent just under a decade at BluePearl, growing her knowledge of veterinary medicine and understanding of the emotional dynamics involved in pet care. In 2017, Britt completed her certification in Pet Bereavement, recognizing the deep emotional bonds between pets and their families and the opportunity to offer support during the most challenging times. 

Britt's goal for VCA Knapp’s Corner is to guarantee our patients receive the highest quality of medical attention, while providing our clients a collaborative environment where they are active participants in their pets' health!

Outside of the hospital, Britt enjoys adventures with her husband and their two rescue mutts, Traveller and Whiskey. When not playing in the great outdoors, the Wilsons can usually be found surrounded by their favorite people and pets—likely playing a spirited game of cards or Chinese checkers.
