Karen's love for animals brought her to VCA Knightswood in 1986. She trained in reception and tech departments. Karen is now the proud Hospital Manager of VCA Knightswood Animal Hospital, which feels like home to her. Karen also takes great pride in the fact this hospital is AAHA accredited—meaning they can offer the best standard of care for their patients and education for their clients. She has a profound passion for helping abused animals, volunteering for Justice Rescue and having also represented the hospital at many Wet Nose Rescue events. Karen loves music and is currently learning to play the violin. France and the French language also tug at her heart. Karen spends her spare time with her husband, children, grandchildren, her Siamese cat, Me'lamie, and her terrier mix, Tinkerbelle.
