Dr. Rubin enjoys spending time with her family and spending time with her animals.
Why I do what I do: "Thanks to my dad (Ellis Rubin), I was fortunate enough to be exposed to veterinary medicine as a kid. He used to bring sick animals home to provide round- the-clock-care and he would have me come in when there were interesting things to see. I never grew out of wanting to be a vet. I love being able to help solve pet's problems and being a part of their care at all stages of their lives. There is no better career choice for me."
Angela's love for animals started as a child and always dreamt of working with them. Most of her younger years were spent riding horses, up until going to college. She obtained a bachelor's degree at Delaware Valley University in Small Animal Science. In 2016, Angela took on the role of Veterinary Assistant Supervisor at VCA Knightswood, working closely with upper management. She strives to offer guidance, knowledge, and support to fellow co-workers while also continuing to grow in her role. Angela's interests include surgery, anesthesia, and patient care. When not at work, she is a full-time mommy to two young sons and enjoys watching them grow. She also has three cats, Eddie, Kiki, and Michi, and two dogs, Presley and Dawkins. Dawkins holds a special place as her pride and joy; she has had him from 5-weeks-old since 2012.
