Dr. Handy hails from New England. She earned her Bachelor of Science degree from the Honors College at Adelphi University in 1999 and her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from Tufts University in 2003. Dr. Handy has also completed a certification course in acupuncture provided by the International Veterinary Acupuncture Society, and is pursuing accreditation in acupuncture. She is proud to provide medical and surgical services to the Worcester Animal Rescue League in her spare time.
