Maddie has been a member of the VCA Lilburn team since May 2021. She's been in the veterinary field for 3 years starting as a kennel assistant during her summer break. Maddie attended the University of Georgia (Go Dawgs!) and graduated in 2021 with a BSA in Animal Science. She was an intern under a veterinary endocrinologist working on clinical trials of medications for diabetes mellitus, hyperthyroid, feline anemia, and hyperglycemia in cats and dogs.

Maddie is from right here in Lilburn, GA, where she attended Parkview High School. She has 3 dogs and 3 cats at home. Maddie loves to sing and loves musical theatre. She was involved with the Guide Dog Foundation and raised a black lab named Lefty who is now an explosive detection dog. Maddie is a big reader and read 127 books in 2021! Fun fact: Maddie was the musical director of an a cappella group at UGA called the UGA Ecotones!
