DVM, Doctor of Veterinary Medicine, St. George's University School of Veterinary Medicine
MPH, Master of Public Health, St. George's University School of Medicine
Dr. Frisch grew up locally and her love for animals started as a little kid. Inspired later by Gandhi's statement that "the greatness of a nation and its moral progress can be judged by the way its animals are treated" Dr. Frisch pursued veterinary medicine not only as a way to help animals but also to help people. She believes that compassion and humane treatment toward animals leads to similar treatment or interaction among human beings.
Dr. Frisch attended St. George's University School of Veterinary Medicine on the island of Grenada, West Indies where she completed both her DVM and MPH degrees in 2009. She practiced in a small animal clinic in Northern Virginia for four years before joining VCA North Rockville in October 2013. Her interests include preventive medicine, client education, internal medicine and general surgery.
Outside of work, Dr. Frisch spends time at home with her cat, Willow, or on the ice playing on a local women's hockey team.Read More
