Dr. Merrell grew up in Brentwood, TN. She received her BS in Zoology from the University of Tennessee in 1995 and graduated with honors from the University of Tennessee College of Veterinary Medicine in 2000. Dr. Merrell practiced at Petmed in Antioch, TN, for 8 years before opening McKay's Mill Animal Hospital in 2008. Outside of work she enjoys spending time with her husband, Eric, and her daughter, Evie.
