Jeannette joined VCA a few years back as a client service representative and has loved serving her hospitals’ communities and building relationships with our clients and their pets ever since. She is a Bay Area native, earned her Bachelor of Science in Clinical/Counseling Psychology from Saint Mary's College of California in Moraga, and her Master of Arts in Counseling from The Wright Institute in Berkeley, California.
After Jeannette's first job working with animals through pet retail, she fell in love with working in the animal world and decided to move to the veterinary field during her master's program, where she decided to stay and grow her career. Jeannette is very passionate about providing high quality care to pets and their families, as well as looking out for the well-being of the clients and staff. She has grown her skills to encompass her client communication and care with technical work in the back alongside doctors, and operationally in her role as a hospital manager. She uses all of these skills to support her hospital as much as possible, making sure all aspects of the patients' experiences are of the best quality.
When she is not at work, Jeannette likes spending time in her community with her family and four Chihuahuas.
