Dr. Yvette Pennington is a 2000 graduate of Louisiana State University's School of Veterinary Medicine, so of course her blood does run purple and gold (Geaux Tigers!). Prior to vet school, she served in the United States Navy as an electrical engineer. Dr. Pennington's veterinary career is long and varied, from a high volume, high quality spay/neuter clinic to time in emergency medicine. If there is a Golden Retriever in the building, you can bet she's going to try to steal it!

Dr. Pennington has lived in Mt. Juliet since 2006 and is glad to be back practicing in her community. She has one 2-legged child and four 4-legged children, all of whom she loves dearly (95% of the time!).
