Nikkie is originally from Winchester, Virginia where she grew up singing, acting, and dancing, as well as taking care of multiple animals throughout her childhood. When she is not working, she can be found performing, painting, writing, drawing, reading, or gaming. She grew up with two dogs, multiple cats, hamsters, a bunny, and even a gecko. Nikkie has always had a way with animals, from horses to hamsters. She ended up going to school for acting, receiving her BFA in Musical Theater in 2018. She moved to NYC where she often ended up dog and cat sitting. After spending six years in NY, Nikkie decided it was time for a shift, and moved south to Atlanta. Upon moving, Nikkie found that while she continued pursuing acting, she also wanted to work in a field where she felt she'd be making a difference. This is where her love of animals came in, and she found her new position at VCA! Nikkie is excited to be a part of the VCA family and hopes to make a difference for pets and their families.
