Greyhounds Pets of America Greater Northwest Inc

GPA Greater NW is a non profit 501(3)(C) organization, dedicated to placing retired racing Greyhounds into homes through out the greater Northwest and Western Canada. We are an all volunteer organization, our primary focus is the care and placement of all Greyhounds, regardless of age, colors or even in some cases medical needs into the right loving forever homes.

Guide Dogs For The Blind

Guide Dogs for the Blind is more than an industry-leading guide dog school; we are a passionate community that serves the visually impaired. With exceptional client services and a robust network of trainers, puppy raisers, donors and volunteers, we prepare highly qualified guide dogs to serve and empower individuals who are blind or have low vision. All of our services are provided free of charge; we receive no government funding.

Multnomah County Dog Services

Multnomah County Animal Services (MCAS) is the only open door shelter in Portland. We are the primary agency responsible for lost pet care, animal abuse investigations and animal rescue in Multnomah County. We also offer dog and cat licensing, lost and found pet services, and animal adoptions through our shelter in Troutdale.

For 145 years, OHS has been sheltering abandoned animals, fighting cruelty and neglect, and working to build a caring, compassionate community here in Oregon.

Although we have thousands of members and 1,500 volunteers, we are really nothing more than a single person saying 'Yes, I want to help.'

Oregon Zoo

The nonprofit Oregon Zoo Foundation enhances community involvement with the zoo, primarily through member-based support.

Each year it contributes between $4 and $5 million to help fund the zoo's work in conservation, education and animal welfare.

VCA Charities Pet Food Pantry

VCA Charities' Pet Food Pantry - launched in 2014 in Portland, OR, VCA Charities' Pet Food Pantry provides pet food to the clients of food pantries. It is co-sponsored by Hill's Pet Nutrition. The VCA Charities Pet Food Pantry allows pets to get the necessary proper nutrition to stay healthy. A Pet Food Pantry is held every 4th Thursday of each month at Southeast Community Church Of Nazarene, located at 5535 SE Rhone, Portland, OR 97206
