Ruth has been working at VCA Old Trail Animal Hospital as a Veterinary Technician for a "very long time." She is a graduate of SUNY at Delhi in Veterinary Technology. she is a proud mother of two grown sons. Ruth had her husband, Harry, live with their six cats and two dogs: a Shepherd Mix named Annabelle and a Black Lab named Sophie.

"I have always had a passion for animals; ever since I was a child and the neighbor's dog would come over to our house and watch me play outside. My desire to go into the veterinary profession was inspired by a 4H field trip when I was eleven years old. We went to visit a Veterinary Clinic, and that is when I fell in love with the idea of working with animals."
