Dr. Michael King, a proud Michigan native, earned his Doctor of Veterinary Medicine from Michigan State University in 2004. His commitment to healthcare led him to achieve a Master's of Public Health in 2014 from Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health. With a wealth of experience in Emergency Medicine, General Practice, and having served as the Area Medical Director for VCA on Oahu for five years, Dr. King brings a diverse skill set to our VCA OCVS emergency department.

Beyond the medical realm, Dr. King embraces a balanced lifestyle. During his off-time, he immerses himself in the joys of hiking, yoga, weight lifting, gaming, and spending time with his husband and their lively canine companions—three French Bulldogs named Jack, Luella, and Violet, as well as a majestic Great Dane named Darla.
