Dr. Kate Kerr was born and raised in New England. She attended the University of Vermont for her undergraduate studies before moving to Colorado to attend the Bel-Rea Institute of Animal Technology. After working as a veterinary technician for several years, she decided to take her education to the next level and attended the Ross University School of Veterinary Medicine, where she received a full scholarship. Her clinical year was spent at the University of Florida. Dr. Kerr received her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine in 2009. Her professional interests include dentistry, internal medicine, preventative medicine, radiology, and soft tissue surgery. Outside of the hospital, she enjoys scuba diving, golfing, and snowboarding. She and her husband Rick are the proud parents of a 1-year-old son, Liam, and two dogs, Seamus and Tallulah.
