Dr. Lashera Reid joined VCA Peachtree Animal Hospital in January 2022 as a veterinary assistant and is thrilled to now serve the community as a veterinarian. Originally from Loganville, Georgia, Dr. Reid has dreamed of becoming a veterinarian.
She earned her bachelor's degree in biology from Georgia Gwinnett College before graduating from the University of Georgia College of Veterinary Medicine. Her professional interests include preventive medicine, clinical pathology, and internal medicine, and she is passionate about helping pets live long, healthy lives through compassionate, high-quality care.
At home, Dr. Reid enjoys spending time with her Yorkie, Papa, and her cat, Cleo. Outside of the hospital, she loves making memories with family and friends, reading, and attending group fitness classes.
