Danni is a long-time animal lover born and raised in West Michigan. Since before she could walk, her mother instilled into her a love for all creatures big and small, even those of the scaly or creepy-crawly variety. Danni pursued her passion for animals, working at various pet stores until she found a small aquatics shop in Kalamazoo, where she decided that a field in animal care was the path for her.
Danni owns and operates her own reptile rescue, where she accepts surrenders of all species and conditions. Operating this rescue lit the fire for Danni, convincing her to pursue a career in education in veterinary science to expand her knowledge of animal medicine and further benefit the animals under her care. "I do it all for you," she reminds her pets every time she leaves for work.
