Dr. Tyler Yuh was born and raised in Hawaii. He received a BA in Biochemistry and Mandarin Chinese from Occidental College in 2004, graduating with Magna Cum Laude honors. He spent three years in Los Angeles as a veterinary assistant at a local hospital. Dr. Yuh then graduated from University of California, Davis School of Veterinary Medicine in 2014, ranked at the top of his class and awarded with Phi Zeta honors.

Following veterinary school, Dr. Yuh moved to Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. He worked at VCA Castle Shannon, a high volume hybrid general practice and emergency medicine hospital, much like VCA Sacramento Animal Medical Group.

Dr. Yuh has now returned to California and become the Medical Director of VCA Sacramento Animal Medical Group. He looks forward to providing the absolute best care for his patients and developing a strong rapport with his clients. While he has many interests, he truly enjoys soft tissue surgeries and periodontal procedures.

Aside from veterinary medicine, Dr. Yuh cherishes the time he spends with his wife, who is also a veterinarian. They have a small menagerie of animals at home. On his free time, he enjoys competitive shooting sports, going on long hikes with his dog and spending time with his nephew.
