Dr. Dana Becker is a dedicated veterinarian with a passion for providing high-quality care in both urgent care and general practice. A California native, Dr. Becker graduated with honors in Integrative Biology from UC Berkeley, where she developed a strong foundation in the biological sciences. She went on to earn her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree with honors from UC Davis School of Veterinary Medicine in 2022.
Following graduation, Dr. Becker worked in Chicago before she returned to the Bay Area and joined the team at VCA San Mateo, where she has been practicing since. Dr. Becker is committed to providing compassionate, comprehensive care to pets and their families. Her approach blends the latest advancements in veterinary medicine with a deep understanding of the human-animal bond.
Outside of work, Dr. Becker enjoys running, crafting, and trips to collect sea glass at Ocean Beach. She is committed to lifelong learning and is always seeking new ways to improve patient outcomes and support pet owners in achieving the best possible quality of life for their animals.
