Dr. Clay Hartzoge was raised in Arlington, TX. He earned his bachelor's degree in Biology at the University of North Texas in 2016. Shortly after graduating from his undergraduate studies, he started his lifelong goal of practicing medicine. While working towards his career, he went back and forth between Ohio and Texas while ultimately landing in The Buckeye state. After finishing his clinical studies at The Ohio State University, Dr. Hartzoge graduated from Ross University School of Veterinary Medicine in 2021. Dr. Hartzoge enjoys all aspects of veterinary medicine but has a particular interest in the area of soft tissue and orthopedic surgeries.
When not helping four-legged family members, he likes to stay active by playing basketball and doing outdoor activities such as hiking and kayaking. He and his fiancé have four pets at home including Darwin the bulldog, Blu the island mix breed, Thatcher the orange long-haired cat, and Alfie the rambunctious golden retriever.
