Here at VCA Schaumburg, Alex is our Surgical Coordinator. Alex is the proud animal mom of 4 dogs, 2 cats and a bearded dragon. She has grown up around animals her whole life, having had chinchillas, sugar gliders, hedgehogs, turtles, you name it. After spending a decade in restaurants, and getting her degree in hospitality management, she decided to take a leap into something she was more passionate about—animals! After spending some time working in animal shelters, she has now switched over to veterinary medicine and is loving learning more about the medical side of animals every day!
