Nicolas Ramirez-Heidtbrink was born and raised in sunny Southern California. He recently moved to Villa Park and is currently adapting to the thrills and chills of the Midwest. After having received his Degree in Veterinary Medicine from Western University of Health Sciences, he made the long road trip to Illinois. Despite the long and treacherous journey, it was well worth it as he was finally reunited with his wonderful fiancé and they are looking forward to getting married in the fall. 

Although initially having expressed interest in large animal medicine at the beginning of his veterinary career, the hearts and minds of his small animal companions slowly changed his heart and mind. Throughout his home, you will find many well-loved plants and bonsai trees. It is very unfortunate that his cat companion could not accompany him on this new journey but he is currently on guard duty with his own wonderful mother. He is looking forward to being apart of and creating a wonderful future here with VCA Schaumburg.
