  • Cosequin® Sprinkle Caps is a supplement that contains glucosamine and chondroitin, which are natural compounds found in healthy cartilage, plus maganese, which helps in the formation of cartilage, to support the overall health and mobility of joints. It helps protect existing cartilage from breakdown, support cartilage production, and maintain joint fluid for optimal joint and connective tissue health.

    Side effects are rare but may include diarrhea.

  • Dogs and Cats

  • Pull apart the capsule(s) and sprinkle contents on food. Give the recommended dose daily for 4-6 weeks. Once desired response is obtained, reduce dosage to maintenance level. Wet or moist food is preferred to ensure that your dog eats the entire amount.


    Cautions

    For dog and cat use only. Not intended to be used in place of other treatments in the presence of an infection or if surgery is needed. Diabetic dogs or overweight dogs with glucose tolerance problems should have their blood sugars monitored when taking glucosamine supplements. Overdose is not likely but may result in diarrhea.
