Hailing from Chicago, Illinois, Dr. Apostol graduated from Reed College in Portland, Oregon with a degree in philosophy and went on to pursue an advanced degree in philosophy at Cornell University. Realizing she was on the wrong career path, and after taking several night and weekend science classes, she ended up enrolling in and graduating from vet school at UC Davis in 2012. She completed a rotating internship at Pet Emergency and Specialty Center of Marin and then worked in General Practice at a clinic in San Rafael for several years before returning to Emergency Medicine.
Dr. Apostol enjoys being part of a team of skilled emergency doctors and specialists, and having the opportunity to continue to learn new skills and information throughout her career.
In her free time, Dr. Apostol likes to hike, ski, work out, listen to music, read, cook, and relax at home.
