Shae Meininger, originally from Humboldt County, has been a part of the ACC family for twenty years –– since 2001! Wanting to work in the veterinary field since she was fifteen years old, Shae started out as a Veterinary Assistant. She pursued a degree as Registered Veterinary Technician, graduating with her RVT in 2007. She is currently our Emergency Services supervisor.
Shae is passionate about helping pets in emergent situations – from diagnosis, to applying technical skills, to providing patients with care and support, she loves all aspects. She also enjoys working with diabetic and hepatopathy (a condition of the liver) patients.
Outside of work, Shae enjoys traveling, scuba diving, and camping with friends and family. At home, she enjoys crafting and working on house and yard projects. She has two Pugs, Gemma and Buster, a Frenchie named Leeloo, a Sphynx named Violet Sinead, and a short-haired kitty named Musturd.
Administration
The hospital administration team consists of management personnel who oversee all staff members, hospital activities and the facilities. Together, they keep the hospital running smoothly, ensuring quality patient care and excellent client service. From the moment you check in, our administrative staff is here to deliver the best possible experience to you and your pet before, during and after your visit.
