Belen Burrola

Veterinarian

DVM

Dr. Belen Burrola received her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine from Colorado State University. She completed her undergraduate education at the University of Arizona (Bear Down!), where she earned a bachelor's degree in Veterinary Science. From a young age, she knew she wanted to become a veterinarian and has spent her life working toward that goal.

Throughout her career, Dr. Burrola has worked with a wide range of animals (from guinea pigs to elephants), but she discovered her true passion in small animal general practice. She finds deep fulfillment in supporting the health and well-being of dogs and cats, and particularly enjoys helping strengthen the bond between pets and their families through personalized care and education. Her clinical interests include preventive medicine, soft tissue surgery, and dentistry.

Dr. Burrola is also passionate about expanding access to veterinary services beyond her local community. She has participated in spay and neuter clinics in both Costa Rica and Baja California Sur, Mexico, which deepened her commitment to community outreach and global animal welfare. Raised in a border town in Arizona, Dr. Burrola is a native Spanish speaker. She is dedicated to providing accessible, compassionate care to both English and Spanish-speaking clients, ensuring language is never a barrier to quality veterinary medicine.

After graduating from veterinary school, Dr. Burrola is excited to begin her next chapter in Denver, Colorado. She looks forward to experiencing all that city and mountain life has to offer. In her free time, she enjoys snowboarding, taking day trips to Colorado's mountain towns, and hiking with her yellow Labrador, Nacho.
