Dr. Jennifer Crawford received her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine from the University of Florida (Go Gators!). From a young age, she knew veterinary medicine was her passion and has since dedicated her life to pursuing opportunities to help animals. Dr. Crawford attended Florida Southern College and earned a degree in Biology. During this time, she volunteered with community outreach programs and shelters, as well as worked as a veterinary technician at a local small animal general practice. She continued her education and earned a master's degree in Veterinary Medical Sciences with a focus in Veterinary Shelter Medicine from the University of Florida.
Dr. Crawford loves that being a veterinarian combines the challenge of medicine with her affection for animals. She values the opportunities to help patients live their best lives by providing high-quality veterinary care, as well as develop meaningful, lasting relationships with families and their pets. Dr. Crawford strives to apply a spectrum of care to increase the accessibility of veterinary medicine, so that every patient receives the best care for their individual situation. Her special interests include proactive wellness care, internal medicine, and soft tissue surgery. Among her graduating class, she was also recognized with multiple awards for her interest in and commitment to feline and shelter medicine.
While she was raised in Florida, after graduating from veterinary school, she was ready for a new adventure and decided to relocate to Denver, Colorado. She is excited to explore the abundance of hiking, climbing, and skiing that Colorado is famous for. Additionally, she is an avid reader, enthusiastic traveler, and a passive sports fan. At home, Dr. Crawford lives with her partner, Will, and their two retrievers, Hazel and June, as well as their cat, Leo.
