Emily joined VCA Valley Animal Hospital of Sahuarita in January 2024 as a veterinary assistant, bringing prior experience from VCA Alaska Pet Care in Anchorage, AK. She has since transitioned into a client service representative role, where she uses her clinical background to confidently support pet owners and help create a smooth, positive experience for every visit!
Originally from Albuquerque, NM, Emily grew up moving across the U.S., including time in California and Alaska. She has two dogs—Hank, a German Shepherd, and Branson, a Lab/Corgi mix. Outside of work, Emily enjoys crocheting, working on her Jeep, hiking with her dogs, and camping. She loves her job for the opportunity it gives her to expand her knowledge of science and medicine while building meaningful connections with clients and their pets.
