Dr. Mike is a 2019 graduate of VA-MD College of Veterinary Medicine. After completing his undergrad in New York, he moved to Virginia where he worked as a software developer for more than 10 years. Though this first career was interesting and challenging, Mike felt pulled away. His love of animals and appreciation of the human-pet bond led him to return to school and become a veterinarian. Special interests in the field include dentistry, ultrasound, Greyhounds and other sighthounds, and education.
Dr. Mike lives with his wife and son, and four cats (Edna Mode, Jack-Jack, Flounder, and Dalwhinnie-Puffybiscuits). He enjoys running, science fiction & fantasy books, video games, and indulging in wonderfully-terrible movies.
