Sophie began her veterinary career as a client service representative and worked her way into her current role as a veterinary assistant. She previously worked with a VCA in Oregon before joining the VCA Warm Springs team in 2026. Originally from the Bay Area in California, Sophie is passionate about animal care and making a difference in the lives of pets and their families.
Her family includes Squishy, an orange tabby; Luna, a pit bull; JoJo, a shepherd mix; and Lucky, a spider ball python. Outside of work, Sophie enjoys longboarding, paddleboarding, hiking, traveling, volunteering, and supporting animal shelters. She is also a certified phlebotomist and holds her BLS certification.
Sophie has a special interest in zoology and feline biology, with future goals of working with big cats. What she enjoys most about veterinary medicine is being there for animals when they need care and comfort the most. Helping them feel better and knowing that, even in a small way, she is making a difference in their lives and the lives of their families is incredibly rewarding to her.
