Katherine's passion for animal care started during college when she picked up a part-time job working at a shelter in New York. Ever since then, she has dedicated her career to providing care and comfort to companion animals in all stages of life. Before joining VCA West Seattle, she worked at a veterinary clinic in Asheville, North Carolina for seven years and became Fear Free Certified. During her free time, Katherine enjoys soaking up the sun with her Aussie/Retriever mix, Abraham, or curled up on the couch with a book and her black cat, Sarabi. Her favorite part of the job is getting to experience the bonds between clients and their fur babies, and witnessing the different personalities of each breed shine through.
