Julie grew up here in Woodstock, and completed her veterinary training at University of Illinois in 1984. Since then she has lived and worked around the world in a number of different capacities ranging from horse practice here in McHenry County to human pharmaceutical development in Sweden to teaching small animal medicine in Africa and Nepal. Julie has had the opportunity to pick up specialty training in integrative medicine and ophthalmology. She has a love of all species, but her heart belongs to the cat family and to her Morgan horses, who she breeds and shows nationwide. She's gregarious, loves mentoring and loves to tell stories, so don't get her started!!
