The Animal Assistance League of Orange County is a non-profit 501(c)3 no kill humane society dedicated to aiding lost and homeless pets, helping people with pet related problems, promoting responsible pet-ownership and pet population control, and preventing cruelty to animals through educational programs. ASPCA Animal Poison Control Center Hotline

The ASPCA Animal Poison Control Center is staffed 24 hours with veterinary health professionals who have been specially trained in veterinary toxicology. If you think that your pet may have ingested a potentially poisonous substance, call the ASPCA 24 hour emergency Animal Poison Control Center hotline at (888) 426-4435. A $65 consultation fee is applied to your credit card.

Carson Cats

Carson Cats is a non-profit 501(C)(3) Cat Rescue that is dedicated to rescuing cats and kittens from the 6 Los Angeles County shelters, mainly Carson Shelter located in Gardena, Ca. Over the past 9 years, Carson Cats has rescued over 9100 animals from the Los Angeles County Shelter System which has one of the highest euthanasia rates in the country. This is a private, volunteer only organization and there is no direct affiliation with “Carson Cats” and the Los Angeles County Department of Animal Care and Control.

Feline Charity, Inc.

We are a small 501(c)(3) Tax Deductible Charity that serves the south bay area of Los Angeles. Feline Charity is an all-volunteer managed organization. It is driven by a team of dedicated volunteers. Our Mission includes: Supporting feral cat Trap/Neuter/Return programs; Aiding those that help stray and feral cat rescue; Helping to find homes for domestic cats and kittens need to be re-homed.

Kitten Rescue

Founded in 1997, Kitten Rescue is a non-profit volunteer-run organization devoted to finding loving new homes for unwanted cats and kittens. Kitten Rescue volunteers place approximately 1,000 cats and kittens into new homes every year. While the majority of Kitten Rescue’s animals live in volunteer foster homes until adopted, Kitten Rescue also owns and operates The Kitten Rescue Sanctuary, a private, no-kill shelter and boarding facility that can house up to 150 cats, where care, love and socialization are provided to cats housed there. Prior to adoption, all rescued cats’ medical needs are taken care of, including spaying/neutering, leukemia and FIV testing, vaccinations, deworming, treatment for fleas and microchipping. Kitten Rescue also offers education and assistance to the public regarding all aspects of responsible pet ownership, care of kittens and cats, including feral cats.

Marley's Pit Stop Rescue

Marley’s Pit Stop, founded in 2002, is an all foster rescue network for more than 75 dogs, cats and bunnies who through no fault of their own find themselves homeless and facing death. As soon as one of our animals finds their dream home, we fill that spot with another animal in need. Our animals become part of the Crew by way of rescue out of high kill shelters, are abandoned to the streets as strays or are given up by private parties who can no longer care for their pets. Marley’s Pit Stop Rescue combines hands-on rescue, outreach education and the potential reach of media to encourage and empower a generation to join together and get our companion animals on the track and winning the race home.

Pug Nation Rescue of L.A.

Pug Nation Rescue of Los Angeles is a registered 501c3 non-profit organization dedicated to the rescue, care, and placement of abandoned, neglected, unwanted, displaced, and abused pugs. Every year Pug Nation saves and adopts out hundreds of loving Pugs from the streets of Southern California-thanks to the support of individuals like you. Our goal is to find every homeless pug a forever home; if we cannot do that, we pledge to provide a comfortable and loving place for sick or unwanted pugs to live out their lives.

PURRfect Partners

PURRfect Partners is a 501(c)(3) non-profit, all volunteer cat rescue and adoption group that serves the entire South Bay area, including Redondo Beach, Torrance, Gardena, Manhattan Beach, Hermosa Beach, Palos Verdes and Carson, as well as other Los Angeles communities. All of our cats are kept in foster homes while awaiting adoption. 100% of the donated funds goes to care and feeding of the cats, and to our spay and neuter program.

Rover Rescue

Rover Rescue is a non-profit organization founded in 2001 to save as many homeless dogs as we can and place them in permanent and loving homes. Over 100 dogs are put to sleep in overcrowded Los Angeles area animal shelters every day. Many of these homeless dogs have been abandoned, abused or neglected, without ever knowing the love of a caring human being. Our rescues are placed in caring foster homes or boarded until the right owner is found. Our volunteers walk, socialize and provide loving care; injured or sick dogs are given proper medical attention. Dogs are vaccinated, spayed or neutered and even given beauty makeovers. In addition, Rover Rescue works hard in our community to reduce animal overpopulation and increase vital awareness about responsible pet ownership. We actively support spaying and neutering of all companion dogs and offer spay/neuter financial assistance to low-income families. There are many ways you can pitch in to transform the lives of dogs and humans, and make happy tails come true—100% of our support comes from donations and volunteers. Southern California Pomeranian Rescue

The Southern California Pomeranian Rescue is a purposely small 501(c)(3) Pomeranian dog rescue run by volunteers who have a deep commitment in placing Pomeranians back into loving adoptive homes. Working beside the City of Angels Pomeranian Club (COAPC) since 2008, we hope to save as many Pomeranians from untimely deaths and sudden abandonment through shelter pulls and Owner Surrender situations. Our Rescue is 100% dependent on tax-deductible donations from supporters and adoption donations.
