Endoscopic Cyclophotocoagulation (ECP)

Glaucoma is a serious disease that often leads to blindness in one or both eyes. In some cases, surgery can be preformed to try and maintain vision. ECP requires highly specialized equipment to decrease the pressure within the eye. An ophthalmic endoscope is inserted into the eye and a laser is used to decrease the fluid production. VCA Advanced Veterinary Care Center was the first veterinary hospital in Indiana to purchase one of these lasers.
