Zoe is a South LA native that started her veterinary career as a receptionist for general practice hospitals and realized at a young age that vet medicine was her heart. She then started with California Animal Hospital (Now VCA ASEC) in 2003 as a receptionist and just 3 years later trained to be an anesthesia technician for surgery. Zoe has worked on enhancing her technical skill for running anesthesia ever since and enjoys teaching others in this area. She obtained her RVT license in 2011 and quickly became ASEC's surgery supervisor in 2012. As the specialty practices grew, she was promoted to the specialty departments manager where she oversees our multi-specialty practices. Zoe has a soft spot for Chihuahuas, so much so, we have appointed her the Chihuahua whisperer. She loves all things music and enjoys writing in her free time.
