Rhonda Schulman
Veterinary Specialist DVM, DACVIM

Dr. Rhonda Schulman received her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree in 1994 from the University of California, Davis. After veterinary school, she completed a one-year rotating internship in small animal medicine and surgery at The University of Pennsylvania, followed by a residency in small animal internal medicine at The University of Illinois.

In 1999 she became a Diplomate of the American College of Veterinary Internal Medicine, practicing as a staff internist at a hospital in Arizona. In 2000, she returned to The University of Illinois, first as a Visiting Clinical Assistant Professor, and then as an Assistant Professor. She returned to Arizona in 2004 and joined us at ASG in November 2007. She has authored numerous book chapters and journal articles and has lectured nationally on a variety of internal medicine topics, most extensively in pulmonology and endocrinology.

Dr. Schulman resides with her husband, John, a veterinary dermatologist, their two children, two dogs, two cats, two rabbits, and seven chickens. Outside of ASG, she has begun to practice running and has tutored adults in English as a second language.
