Dr. Morgan Biggo obtained her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree in 2018 from Louisiana State University. After completing veterinary school, she performed a one-year internship at Colorado State University, a one-year surgical internship at VCA Animal Speciality and Emergency Center, and a three-year surgical residency at The Ohio State University.
Dr. Biggo's research interest has centered around orthopedic disease and pain management, particularly in the racing greyhound. She has presented at the national veterinary surgery conference and continues to explore innovative pain management protocols to help aid in patient comfort post-operatively.
Dr. Biggo's professional interests include both soft tissue and orthopedic surgery, but she is particularly drawn to the complexity of orthopedic surgery. Her special interests include joint replacement surgery as well as fracture repair. During her surgical residency, she became heavily involved in a racing greyhound rescue program and particularly enjoyed the management of greyhound orthopedic disease.
Dr. Biggo lives with her husband and their multitude of pets including four dogs (two of which are retired racing greyhounds), two snakes, one Madagascar giant day gecko, multiple fish tanks, and numerous tarantulas.
