Dr. Emma Davey grew up in Maryland but has spent the last decade zigzagging across the country. She completed her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree at Colorado State University College of Veterinary Medicine. She then completed an internship in small animal medicine and surgery at Tufts Veterinary Emergency Treatment and Specialties, a surgery internship at Colorado Animal Specialty and Emergency, and a surgical oncology internship at the University of Florida.
Dr. Davey has performed research in infectious disease genomics, ophthalmology, and soft tissue surgery techniques. She has presented her research at multiple conferences. Dr. Davey particularly enjoys soft tissue surgery, with an emphasis on surgical oncology.
Outside of the hospital, Dr. Davey spends her time baking, hiking, ice skating, and doing archery. Two cats allow her to share their home.
