Dr. Heather Baydian received her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from Ross University School of Veterinary Medicine after completing her clinical year at Colorado State University. She began her career in general practice, serving the community of San Diego. Furthering her education, she completed a mentorship training program in emergency medicine and began her full time role at VCA Animal Specialty Group as an emergency doctor.
Dr. Baydian has a special interest in toxicities, autoimmune diseases, and surgical cases, but especially loves the fast-paced and unpredictable nature of emergency medicine.
In her free time, Dr. Baydian enjoys spending time at the beach, baking sourdough bread, and walking her dog, Ivy. She lives with her husband, their dog and three cats.
