Dr. Libby Mannucci is a dedicated veterinary criticalist with a passion for emergency and critical care medicine. She obtained her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine at Western University of Health Sciences and completed her internship at the Veterinary Specialty Hospital of San Marcos. This is where she developed a strong interest in managing life-threatening conditions and critically ill patients. This experience solidified her decision to pursue a residency in Emergency and Critical Care at VCA West Los Angeles Animal Hospital, where she further specialized in the complexities care for critically ill animals.
Dr. Mannucci's clinical interests focus on sepsis, trauma, and the post-operative management of critically ill patients. She continues to explore these interests through both her practice and research. She is committed to providing compassionate and expert care in high-pressure situations, ensuring that every patient receives the best chance for recovery.
Outside of her work, Dr. Mannucci enjoys the Southern California lifestyle, spending her free time at the beach or exploring local farmers' markets. She loves embracing the sunshine and staying active in the vibrant community.
