Dr. Walsh grew up in Cary, NC and graduated from NC State University College of Veterinary Medicine. She completed an internship in medicine and surgery at Washington State University and an internship in ophthalmology at Mississippi State University. Dr. Walsh returned home to North Carolina to continue her career as a small animal associate veterinarian. Her professional interests include ophthalmology, ultrasound, and alternative therapies. 

Outside of work, Dr. Walsh enjoys spending time outdoors with her husband and two sons. She also has two dogs and two cats.
